YMMV but you can read the reports of many folks including myself about how Tahoe is wreaking havoc on early-gen Mx machines. I can’t imagine what it would be like on Intel 😳

Maybe because their machine doesn't support GG.
Or, they prefer to install a polished and stable system like macOS 26.6.2, instead of a beta or a 27.0 version.

Some people hate the new GUI — I love it: beautiful and efficient 😁

The Mac runs at least 10h per day, mainly with Adobe apps and audio and video software, no problem with 26.6.2.

I agree that Tahoe is stable now … but I don't know if I would go so far as to call it "polished" 😛
