I'm wondering whether the T2 problems are likely to be solved, specifically for the Macmini8,1 2018
Bro it's not as simple as we think. According to me T2 uses iBoot, which is a traditional bootloader for iPhones and iPads so when booting through oclp.pkg, this results in kernel panic. That's why even T2 doesn't have Sequoia support till now so if Sequoia's problems on dropped T2 models are fixed, then Tahoe will be fixed anytime soon after Sequoia. But again depends on problems. OCLP devs will tell if it's ready or it's not ready. Follow #Tahoe-Info channel in discord channel for all updates! Honestly, Metal-3802 have problems on Tahoe but atleast it boots except Renderbox. All good things take time! And sometimes the things never work, unless a miracle happens and we figure out the problems earlier than our expectations.

For further info, you can contact any of the developers in the channel. Leave the message and wait for their response. If they want, then they will discuss about the problems. Do not bother them by asking same questions. I don't still know properly about Metal-3802 issues on Tahoe, however I will wait for the release. I suggest you to do the same! You can try to install on a seperate volume, if you are a person with dev skills. But still I would say, Do not try this at home 🤣
