macOS Tahoe inconsistency, Path Bar, Statue Bar, what do you think?

Hi,

when the finder window is not the active window, with Statue Bar active. it seems like we still get the old Statue Bar.

When the window is active, it still have the same issue, but hard to see. the Statue Bar did not seem to have been redesigned into liquid glass.

ok, I'll do that. I did not install it on my machine, cause I use my only Mac for work (this is just a screenshot from YouTube, I also saw another thing that did not look great), but now I think I will send feedback about these things

They need to revert from having the floating on an island sidebar on the left.

It makes no sense and is creating these problems with the status bar.

It’s a core part of the liquid glass UI so that won’t be happening.

I don't think it's a "core part of the liquid glass UI" to force this particular nonsensical delineation in Finder windows.

I think they'll change status bar color, simplest fix without padding everything to hell to match the new sidebar nonsense borders.

This. Yosemite introduced a similar issue in System Information, where the previous status bar looked out of place with the new design. Took a while to get fixed, actually:

My thoughts where geez looks horrible but beta 🤞
Did shock me even more on dark mode I think 🤔
And the floating island feels uneven.

I wouldn't put too much stock into what Beta 1 looks like. There's several beta builds and a lot of refinement to come between now and the official launch of Tahoe.
