Probably the only fairly useful thing out of the Tahoe debacle are the customizable folders, something which, it must be reminded, ALREADY existed in pre-OS X days.
There's a workaround now, but it's a bit dirty: edit your background image and add a white rectangle which spans the whole length and 22 pixels downwards of the top of the image.
This is a very old work-around that goes back to the Leopard days when Apple made the menubar first transparent and a lot of folks didn't like it.
It is a UI nightmare. Tech support is going to pull their hair out.
Just look at this insane version. Who in their right mind tought this would be a nice touch??? View attachment 2519086
According to Apple Help, To change Blocked settings in the Mail app
on your Mac, choose Mail > Settings, click Junk Mail, then click Blocked.
Automatically move messages from blocked senders to the Trash mailbox, so you don’t see their messages in your Inbox.
This does not work, as blocked mail simply goest Junk, not Trash. As far as creating groups, under Rules, members of groups are the groups set up in Contacts, and there is no way to view blocked accounts there.
