There seems to be an abundance of Chicago users here. Maybe a get-together is in order.

I'm only a mid-level stalker. Aside from late night phonecalls w/eerie heavy breathing, underwear theft and mild death threats, there's no need to worry.
 
Yeah, I don't know about that... I don't even put my picture up so meeting would definitely be out of the question.
Though a lot of people are really fun or else I wouldn't hang out here so much... :D
 
I suggest we meet in Green Lake Park Seattle and keep it strictly BYODPLWEF. I live in NY, so this way there's no way you weirdos will ever know who I really am...

...'cause there's so many stinkin' weirdos on this forum :D

Lee and i have tried to organize a get together in the past, but it fizzled, but we can always try again, i'm game.

Hasn't he been banned? I would like to meet him to, he has helped me a lot with A/V stuff and playing with OTA HD.

Arn has been on the scene for a while. I believe he used to mod the macaddict forums back in the day. He is the reason for the creation of 68kmla, since he stopped all their shenanigans the on MA forums. I picture him more as a "comicbook guy" type. Perhaps not as heavy, but ever the uber geek.

Multimedia was on the Obama campaign trail when they were going to stop by Indianapolis. I sadly didn't have a place for him to crash for the night. He's a bit more active on AIM now since he's carrying around two Macbook Pros with him.
 
Not a game I usually play, especially considering the number of MWSF user meets I've ended up flaking on.

My quick and incomplete list:

IJReilly (A well-rounded sort, I'll even forgive him for being a Dodger fan!)
Duff Man (Excellent taste in music. Oh yeah!)
Devilot (Because Emily The Strange rules.)
True777 (Good taste in music, the voice of unflappable wisdom in quite a few "advice" threads.)
 
angelwatt - a brilliant help regarding web development
PowerFullMac - because if a kid's that freaky, i need to make sure it's real (!!):p
Eraserhead - sometimes gives good words of advice, a good pub chat would be in order.
Calboy - same as above except he's always right ( or he'll agree with you ) ;)

With the exception of a couple who will remain anonymous, most of the people I have met from MR all seemed like decent peeps and I'm always happy to meet more.

I think it might have been because you clicked on their names via your user CP/ forum listings which displays the last poster in that thread. As a result, the link always takes you to the last poster in a given thread.

It's all good though. :)
