No date for Friday night eh? :p
I'm happy enough to talk with you guys here. :D

Meeting MR members in rl is awesome though. We come from so many walks of life and have one tiny aspect in common (relative to the grand scheme of things, what computer you use isn't really very important), and yet we can get together and form new relationships.

I don't know, maybe I'm a bit sappy and all, but to me that shows that maybe the world doesn't have to be as divisive or alien as we sometimes make it seem to ourselves.

Anyways, I have a few more people I'd like to add to my "Like to Meet" list (although that in no way excludes anyone)

OutThere-seems pretty interesting, and he knows French so you know there must be some good stories! :p

and

jsw-Really very witty and wise about many random (yet important) things.

MR members wanted to know my screenname at the Leopard launch. There wasn't any chance I was going to tell them.

I guess I can understand some hesitation at an event like that, but if you preplan a meetup with other MR members, there's no harm in it.

I've yet to regret meeting the people I've met through MR.

Yep- everyone I've met has been really cool. Let's see:

PlaceofDis
mkrishnan
Gio
zimv20
scem0
Eraserhead
Devilot
ChipNovaMac

All very cool people, I have to say.

Hopefully I'm going to meet Iscariot and bradc in Toronto soon.

:)

Come. To. A. Meetup. Then. :p

I want to meet pretty much all of the MacRumors UK contingent.
On behalf of pretty much all of us, thanks. ;)

I've met around a dozen or so. They were all very nice. :)
I agree. I've met quite a few members, a few several times over the last few years, and it's always been great fun.

I want to meet all the Demis that I haven't met yet. Legs must be humped.

Why not? Ashamed or something? :p

If I could, I'd like to speak to him in Ebonics just to get him riled up. I'd refer to him as "geeza" just to mix things up a bit.

And I'd love to meet many of you, particularly the Demis, even if we're not at all close on MR. MR and real life aren't nearly the same, and I think you'd all be surprised if you met me. I get along with more people in real life than I do on MR, where 80% of you are unbearable. ;)

and I would especially love to me edesignuk and Abstract because I think it would be a hoot to hang out with them.

Thanks. :) I'm sure our conversations would be really interesting. We could talk about how wonderful the weather is.

^-- you mean Leekohler and iBlue.

Well I've met one of those two twice already. Wouldn't say no to meeting the other.
