Thanks, but that's just a contact email, isn't it? There should be a link to click on one's account page. I mean contribute money, not a story.Look for "Let us know" at the top of the page or are you referring to something else?
Try as I may, I can’t find where to contribute to MacRumors. Any pointers?
I see the $25 per year option in my account settings. Thanks, but that's just a contact email, isn't it? There should be a link to click on one's account page. I mean contribute money, not a story.
Open that wallet already.I see the $25 per year option in my account settings.
Strange, have you tried a different browser? Sounds as if someone from MR should help you renewing the membership. If I click on the Paid Membership link, it takes me nowhere. Just tells me it expires tomorrow!
You have to wait until it expires before you can renew. If I click on the Paid Membership link, it takes me nowhere. Just tells me it expires tomorrow!
Well, that's a bit daft, isn't it?You have to wait until it expires before you can renew.
It works and don't call me Shirley.Surely it should work with Safari (desktop version)?
It would be nice to be keep it going without it expiring. I agree. Maybe @arn can change that aspect.Well, that's a bit daft, isn't it?
Interesting that there seems to be no auto-renewal.It would be nice to be keep it going without it expiring. I agree. Maybe @arn can change that aspect.
Some contributing members may not like the payment to be auto renewed. I personally would rather have the choice to renew or not.Interesting that there seems to be no auto-renewal.
Thank you for your prompt attention and for fixing the membership, Arn.So... I figured out why.
We did have it so it would:
- Alert you of an expiring membership
- Allow you to extend prior to it expiring
But, we have been working on revamping the membership system, and so about a month ago, I changed some things in the back-end about the existing membership. This means the extend doesn't work since the details of the membership have technically changed since you original purchased.
Sorry. When you repurchase, "extend" should work again.

Agreed, it should be optional. Some contributing members may not like the payment to be auto renewed. I personally would rather have the choice to renew or not.
