sms service

i think it seems like the sms service functions internationally, atleast if you sign up on the internet. And i don't think it costs, as you are just receiving the sms and it said nothing on their web page about paying, although if you sign up via sms there is a service charge and even over internet you have to confirm the number by sending an sms. so there are some initial charges (price of 1 international sms). Thanks MR for the sms funvtion, i'll be in school so this'll be a great distraction from classes :D

You guys are all lucky...I'm stuck going to school that day until 3:30!

Anyways, I always watch the full keynote a little later spoiler free. I figure I've waited this long to hear what Jobs has to say at WWDC, I think I can wait another couple hours to make it exciting!

Actually, I'm in the same boat as you, but my class ends at 3:40 instead of 3:30 :(

Oh well, that's why I bookmarked the spoiler-free keynote.

So happy a site is offering this "Spoiler Free" email to the keynote video. You guys/girls are awesome! Thanks so much!

And the TXT updates is a cool idea. But I'm keynote kinda guy personally. No offence :)

Shame Apple just can't broadcast the keynote live like they used to.

It's amazing to see how MR has evolved and has now become this really well-connected place. So many options for Keynote coverage, how's a body s'posed to choose? :p

Big thanks to Arn and to all those who help out "behind-the-scenes" in order for this to happen. Especially knox who does a ton of the technical stuff, no?

Arn, the Keynote (and Special Event) updates have grown to a level of quality that we only could have dreamed ago 7 years ago; although, I feel like there's a lot more to be excited about now! :)

A big, pre-event thanks to MR and staff for making these types of services available at no cost. Thank you!

Back on topic: I'm very much looking forward to spending most of that day right here in this chair watching MRLive, with a bowl of corn pops, and no pants.

On a related note, I will also expect to spend the day in front of the computer, watching the live coverage, with no pants. :D

Photos, live coverage, sms, emails and even a spoiler free option for those who want to watch the broadcast of the event later in the day... What can i say, MACRUMORS IS AWESOME!!! Thanks a million Arn!! :D

you guys rock! the sms messages are a great idea for those of us who won't have access to the computer during the keynote (lunchtime for cst). :)

Thanks to arn and the rest of the MR Team for putting this together - I'll certainly be here for WWDC07!

Was just at the Apple store and saw FedEx deliver about 18" of stacked shrink wrapped discs. Wonder if it's new demo software?

Any one know if they may be releasing new Cinema Displays? The 23" one I have is almost three years old, time to update the line Apple.

Hmm, reasons for moving up north to ANYWHERE in Canada:

1) Got a friend in Montreal
2) There's no Dubba
3) They've got the iTMS!!!!
Good job Apple!! Time to move up north.

I feel you on that. How many more years of Bush? lol and the way the heats been hitting the states, with climate change coming Montreal will be the next St. Maarten Ugh...

Probably about time I wrote another Stevenote spoof, but I can't think of what to write. What I'd really love to do is create a full blown "macrumorslive.com" spoof, where people logging in, under the impression it's the real thing, get a live update of a "Stevenote" announcing Mac OS W or something.

Heheh *evil laugh*
