Macrumors Fantasy Baseball League.

Is a one day waiver period too short? Never done Fantasy Baseball before. And we should start thinking of doing a draft by the end of the weekend.

With drafts in mind, my being a dirty foreigner always throws a bit of a spanner in the works with regards to timings. An afternoon draft for US folk translates into an evening one for me which would be ideal, but if this is going to cause a problem then I can always set it up to autodraft in my absence – I wouldn't want to put a lot of other folk out on my account.

Nothing jumps out at me, although I say that with the proviso of being new to this. Having seen MacNut's mention of the waiver period I would tend to agree though, a single day seems a little short.

I see too that we're up to seven teams now which is good. :)

Agreed on both counts. I sent everyone an email through the league. Any suggestions on what the waiver period should be? 3 days?

I will set the draft for Sat at 4:00 PM EST if that works for the majority.

I think 3 days is reasonable.
 
Okay I changed it. Anyone have any opinions on the roster settings? As of now, each drafts 22 with 17 starters.

I guess I would rather we load up on the pitching side, Say we go 5 starters, 2 relievers and closer?
 
The draft has been set for 4:00 PM EST. Everyone has 60 seconds to make their pick so it doesn't take forever.
 
Yes, random draft order. We will skip this week and the first week of play will be week 2 of the MLB season. I gave everyone a bye for the first week so week one is null and void. Is anyone opposed to changing the draft to 5:00 PM EST?

Albertpooholes has first pick.

5 is fine for me, Cake is our only overseas player so lets see if that works for him. So what day do we start play?

Albertpooholes lol.. I chuckled a bit when I saw that earlier today.
