With drafts in mind, my being a dirty foreigner always throws a bit of a spanner in the works with regards to timings. An afternoon draft for US folk translates into an evening one for me which would be ideal, but if this is going to cause a problem then I can always set it up to autodraft in my absence I wouldn't want to put a lot of other folk out on my account. And we should start thinking of doing a draft by the end of the weekend.
Nothing jumps out at me, although I say that with the proviso of being new to this. Having seen MacNut's mention of the waiver period I would tend to agree though, a single day seems a little short. For those who have joined, take a look at the league settings and make sure I didn't screw anything up! It's going to be a H2H league, but I don't want any by weeks or anything like that.
PM the op again with your email.is there no more spots? i never got a PM...
That would be unless I'm mistaken 9pm Saturday here, which would suit me down to the ground.I would propose a draft of 4 pm EDT Saturday.
Is a one day waiver period too short? Never done Fantasy Baseball before. And we should start thinking of doing a draft by the end of the weekend.
I think 3 days is reasonable.Agreed on both counts. I sent everyone an email through the league. Any suggestions on what the waiver period should be? 3 days?
I will set the draft for Sat at 4:00 PM EST if that works for the majority.

Are we just using starting pitchers?
I guess I would rather we load up on the pitching side, Say we go 5 starters, 2 relievers and closer?Yes, but relief pitchers will get 5 points if they pick up the win. Maybe i'll remove one SP spot and replace it with a RP.
