I don’t think I’ve ever seen a giveaway for a product that hasn’t even been announced yet!

At first I was surprised.

Then I thought: this is MacRumors, a website about rumored Apple services/products. It makes sense. A mixture of funny/crazy/brave idea. Actually I like it.

At least it’s something different.

It’s very MacRumors. :) When AirPods launch, everyone will have a small chance of winning them on launch day. It’ll make it more exciting.

If they fall out of my ears all the time and/or feel uncomfortable to wear like the older Earpods and Airpods, then they are useless AFAIC. Form over function almost always seems to suck in Apple designs.

Are you trying to say that this wasn't the best mouse design ever? :D

a free give away that might just give me brain cancer...

hmmm... Nope no think you.

The sound is mediocre, the styling; well let's just say every person I see walking around with them, look silly, and the cost!? well let's just say you don't get what you pay for but YOU DO PAY for what you get!

I'll stick with my WIRED super high quality ear buds that are worth more that what I paid for them

That's all well and good. But given the very restrictive laws in the U.S. and Canada governing how raffles are conducted, is offering an unreleased and unannounced product as a prize even legal?
Of course it's legal. And it's not a raffle, where you buy tickets. There's no money or purchase required to enter. It's a giveaway, not a raffle.

Are people that desperate for black Airpods? Why does the color matter that much to people?
