iMazing looks good, however it is seems to be for only some newer devices. I have an iPod Shuffle and 2 other iPods that are not iPod Touches.
Are there any other programs to transfer the music?

I’ve used it semi-recently to restore an old iPhone 5S to use as an iPod. Worked fine.

iMazing supports bulk deleting apps, backing up and restoring app data, and downloading apps to the iMazing app library so they can be reinstalled if an app is deleted from the App Store.
I have an old app that is on my phone, but has been deleted from the App Store. It is unclear to me whether iMazing will let me move the app (.ipa) file from my iPhone to my MacBook and let me move it to a new iPhone in the future? The instructions I've read sounds like it still has to be in the App Store, download to your computer, and then if it disappears from the App Store, you'll still have it. I need to preserve an old app from my iPhone that is no longer in the App Store. Will iMazing work for that?

I think the only way to get it is to either (1) use iTunes for Windows to sync your phone, then find the .ipa file, or (2) install iTunes 10.6.3 on an old Mac and use that to sync and grab the .ipa file.

How well does backing up my iPhone’s contacts to Excel spreadsheet work with Imaxing?
Last time I did this I had 4000 contacts, but I don’t remember what software I used.

I like to keep a contacts paper back up in the safe deposit box. (Since I started using Phones with downloadable contacts, I’ve done this every three years or so. It’s fascinating to look at the printouts from my first Nokia )
Should work great :) We support export to Card, Excel and CSV. And if you wait for our next update (later today, tomorrow at the latest), you'll get improved support for custom labels.

In case anyone is wondering why there are ~20 comments at the time of this writing and ~17,000 contest entries, it's because people and bots scour the internet for Gleam contests and just spam them with no idea what they're winning or not. Gleam is a really ineffective way of promoting anything in my unqualified opinion. If everyone in this thread entered 1 time, there is a ~0.1% (one tenth of one percent) chance that someone actually talking about iMazing or this contest will win the contest. And there are still 6 days left in the contest.

iMazing seems really cool, the only thing I don't like is that if you forego their yearly billing for their "device license" pricing (one time purchase good for the life of the device), it punishes people like me that get a new iPhone every year but rewards people that hang onto their iPhone for 8 years and complain about Apple's planned obsolescence because they can't get free out of warranty Genius Bar support for their iPhone 3GS
Just wanted to point out that even if you change iPhone every year, our one-time purchase Device License is still extremely affordable: get a 3 devices license for $49.99, the slots don't expire. Grand total: less than $17 per year for 3 years, including all updates and support. And with the current 30% off discount, that's just $35, or less than $12 per iPhone. Somewhat a spurious comparison, but Apple Care costs more than 10 times that!

This is awesome, another user suggested this and I was going to look into whether licenses expire. Thanks for confirming that they don't! This is a great deal and I'll probably pick up 3-5 during the sale.

I also just realized that I hand my previous phone down to my girlfriend every year, and can probably continue using the same iMazing license for her (since it's the same phone) - could you confirm whether that is accurate?

Thanks for the helpful info!

Yay! (I made the same suggestion already, glad I didn't send them astray!)

Y'all should hire me (or reward me with first prize in this competition)
