Macrumors hacked?!

    I had popups coming from macrumors today.

    fromladiesforladies --> enter contact info ...

    It's not on my end. I had it on my iPad, iPhone and macbook.
    Please check up on this!

    Confirm you are not seeing it from any other site?

    Only on macrumors, but on all my computers.
    It comes unpredictably. Is no one else getting this?

    The problem was a URL a member posted in that thread from your screenshot.

    I've removed it.

    Yep. as Sandbox General mentioned. Someone embedded an IMAGE url that ended up behind a password protection. So that web server asked for the login to allow you to view the image. The solution was just to remove the embedded image.

    Ah, thanks for the clarification as to why this happened. I was in some other thread and thought it was odd.
