What's wrong with Lancashire?
I live in Billinge, which in my address is Billinge, Wigan, Lancs. But the police area is Greater Manchester. To add to confusion, my telephone area code is the Wigan one (01942) yet our next door neighbour (and everyone else on my street) has a Skelmersdale/Ormskirk code (01695).
