I cant get to the main page of macrumors. Anyone know whats going on or is it just my computer?

Hmm well this sucks. atleast I can still go on the fourms to see whats going on in the mac world.

The front page is down for me too. Perhaps the server that it was hosted on just went down. New iBook bandwith perhaps? 🙄

Server's up, but just a bit overloaded at the moment - it seems to respond eventually.

Yeah, MR is my home page, and it was down this morning till now. Guess all the excitement about iBook and the Mini crashed the site (?). This happened before when Tiger came out.

Good thing is that MR is a popular site! 😀

It was just a bit bothersome that I could not check MR mid day. Surprising that such a minor update to the iB and mini line's caused a "melt-down".

Okay it came back up for a second then, but now it's back down again... 😕

Are you guys getting through?

By the way, when it was up, the banners were all wrecked for some reason.

I bet my name came up a few times in the Mod forum.
I don't think they blame you for trouble with the front page... 🙄 😉

The ads, on the other hand, might have something to do with the problem:

Good call. 😀

That's what I got too, but it's not getting through at all again.

The front page is coming through fine for me. MacBytes, on the other hand, gives me a blank page.

still no front page for me... took me a while to figure out that the forums were still up 🙄

was worried that i would actually have to do work today! 🙁 😀

There's some server migration stuff going on - all should be automagically fixed shortly.

nothing ever goes as smoothly as planned.

MacRumors.com's front page domain (as well as macbytes) moved servers early on Friday. Access was a bit spotty during the day, but everything should be fixed now.

Just a small server migration. The previous server was pretty old.
