I suggest opening a thread right here since to see the IRC suggestion you have to come here first anyway. Also this is store-forward. IRC you do nlt see all of the "log".
My starting input is more of a wish list than an expectation:
1. A card to add to a OSX desktop computer that has the ports from older Macs. SCSI, ADB, serial, whatever.
2. A card to add to a OSX desktop computer that has the ports from PC's. Parallel, DB9 serial, PS2, VGA.
3. A iPod format CMOS video camera and incidentally still camera at HUGE resolution. 2.1 megapixel video at 30 fps with a 20gh iPod format would be sensational and would command a high retail price of about $1700++ but cost mot much more to manufacture than an iPod.
4. A TV recorder system (iTV and TVraid) that plugs into the TV port on your EXISTING satellite or cable or broadcast output and does any channel switching with a universal remote interface and any scheduling with a .Mac account
5. A carousel CD data device ala the audio CD carousels, and related to that a DVD carousel.
6. A pizza box format conmputer (stackable) CPU with a concept similar to a home priced x-serve. Dual ATA bus, single or dual processor, 1000 base T, maybe double the size/thickness of a TiG4.
7. A mac similar to above but/and specifically designed to hook up with 80% of common PC preipherals. Maybe even a utility that allows PC DRIVERS to be installed as mac drivers.
