and of course it's raining. guess i can always run on the treadmill.
twoodcc, i'm sure you got some of this rain too.
But it's supposed to be 70 degrees here tomorrow, so that will be good for a run.
yes i got plenty of the rain. i actually did a track workout today. got thru about 1/3 of it with my ipod, but the rain made me put up the ipod. let's just hope i don't get sick (i was shirtless)
pictures?
Wooops... knee jerk post there 😛
hah haha cute
Well I'm going to remain dead last. My surgery to fix the surgery disaster of 12-1 went ok but there is more pain and more stitches so....no running or even long periods of walking for me. But hey, someone needs to be the ass of the train so why can't it be me?

Just finished another 5k and Lance Armstrong congratulated me for it being my new PB. I thought that was kind of neat.
Nike+ still isn't working too hot for me though..
No problems as far as that was concerned (losing personal best info). Had server connect errors on the Nike site, when trying to upload 4 stored runs from iPod. Had to go into the iPod and correct the out of sync issue where the number of runs on the iPod was larger than on the nike site.
Also had another stage thing happen today where it did not upload the run with the server error, but the mileage was credited to the goal. Corrected the run and uploaded again and thankfully (depending on perspective) it did not pad the goal mileage.
It'd be nice to have a lot more control of the data on the nano. I assume that after many runs the space it takes up won't be too bad, but at the same time...
i'm thinking that if you run out of space, it clears them out. either that, or mine messed up somehow. my personal best is fine on the nike website, but not on my nano though
i believe i read in the fine print that your nano will hold your last 99 workouts, so shouldn't be too much worry there.
hopefully nike gets their ass in gear on site upgrades

I don't think I'd want to keep 99 workouts on my iPod anyway - you'd have a hard time remembering any of them.
D
I posted in the January thread too, but wanted to get it in this thread as well...
The challenge widget is now working!
So when I bought the Nike+ kit to go with my nano I started up a running program (I'm a golfer, I've never consistently jogged before) going off of Flowbee's recommended beginner's workout. Increments of running+walking, gradually weaning off of the walking up to 30 minutes continuous running. Today was my last day before the 30 minute workout, so we'll see how that goes on Monday.
The nike+ kit and the MR challenge has been great to keep me going. I just passed a cumulative 50 miles run since Dec. 8th when I purchased it, and I expect the 100 mile mark to follow pretty quickly. It certainly wouldn't have happened without the new kit.
Thanks everyone!
