I'm just shy of 1,300 total miles. I've been using the kit since the beginning of the year. I started the year doing 3 miles a day, and worked up to 12 miles a day back in May.
I used to jog, but sustained a knee injury that kept me off the trails for several months. When I returned, I decided to stick with power-walking. I get the same health benefits with less strain on my knees.
Of course, if I was in my 20s rather than my 40s, I'd probably return to jogging!
that's a lot of miles. especially all this year. it's still hard to believe anyone would take 3 hours of their time every day to walk. but, that's better than doing nothing at all.
i can do a lot of miles, but i don't think i could walk that much. i've got just under 1700 miles on my nike+ id.
sorry to hear about your knee injury. i've had several running injuries, some pretty serious, but luckily i'm still running. i've got one more track season in college left.
