The Louvre is pretty amazing, the exhibits/artworks/downright masterpieces come from several parts the world and some go back thousands of years. However, it would probably take days to tour the whole thing and have a fairly good look at everything.

The Louvre is pretty amazing, the exhibits/artworks/downright masterpieces come from several parts the world and some go back thousands of years. However, it would probably take days to tour the whole thing and have a fairly good look at everything.

If you looked at every piece of art for 30 seconds, it would take you 8 months, no?


Anyway, I think Louvre is overrated. I've seen it once, and have been to Musee D'Orsay 3 times. I'm not interested in that type of art. Too biblical. However, I really like post-impressionist works, so I knew I would enjoy the Musee D'Orsay far more. Turns out I was right. 🙂

Went to a mates birthday, got smashed out of my head. Woke up several hours later in my mates house, killer headache, and went for a cuppa'.
