I think Arn and the other mods should do a Macrumors podcast. 🙂 Everyone else does it. Why shouldn't we? It could be a weekly thing, about 10 minutes long, and discuss the most current Mac rumors along with pertinent Apple news and info. Anyone else think this is a good idea?

From what I've heard it's fairly simple to get a podcast published on iTunes. I know I'd suscribe! 😀
 
I agree!! They could discuss the most posted on threads as well, such as talk about the picture association game, and the ****** contreversy this week.

Yeah I agree its not nessicary but It would be nice. Mabey some well respected (if youd call them that) members/ mods could do one either weekly or monthly?
 
yeah, I'd be surprised if apple let someone put a mac rumor podcast on thier own site (iTMS)...but then again, MR doesn't typically post the initial rumors themselves, they just aggregate what everyone else is saying. so maybe they'd be the exception...

There are other directories and apps to obtain podcasts - if iTMS wouldn't post us we could just post to those. Then we could use torrents too. I hope iTMS adds torrent support for podcasts in the future, but I doubt it.
 
Hi guys,

I have started a Mac podcast. It is called Maccast.de Well, unfortunatly it's in German. So most of you guys won't be able to listen. Well - you are able to listen but you will not understand what I am talking about. It is listed in iTunes and between rank 20 and 30 in the iTunes Top100 list. In the German list! I have no idea about the US list.

Anyway, I have two comments:
- the technical site of it is pretty easy. Really. Even getting it into iTunes.
- to make something others listen to takes really a lot of time. More then I tought. And getting it done every week is a lot of work.

And if anyone likes to start her/his own podcast and you need some hints/help/information - drop me a line as well. I will see if I can help you.

We could disguise it, naming it "Fruit Watching Today", until they catch on. 😀
 
A MacRumors Podcast would be very nice. The only one I listen to regularly is Engadget, but MacRumors would immediately jump into that exclusive group if it were to come out.
 
I think that I would subscribe as well, which would be my first podcast subscription. 😀 😱
 
Are we Apple fanatics or MacRumors fanatics? 😉

I think that most people would be interested in listening to it. I'll already add myself to the list of people who wants to see this happen.

If it does come to fruition, I'd be happy to help in any way that I can.

Talk about decisive! Well, if you need a second person to cast with ala Engadget, I'm up for it (and what a great use of iChat too).

If you can get something started, more power to you. Although you might wanna check with the mods first before using the Macrumors name.

Either way, I'd love to see this come to pass. It would probably be the only Podcast I suscribe to.
