Congrats Arn, Admins and Mods... you should be proud to be the 'premier" site for important Mac factoids--->rumors.

Quite an accomplishment.

I look forward to be able to continue (mouthful) enjoying your unembellished info.

That's it!

Hmmmmm

Pudge doesn't even know he is famous now... and 0 posts :(

Awesome I have been on the forums for a few years and this is the best mac forum site I have found. Always helpful people and a great resource to find answers.

Ya' know.. I have one page with 16 tabs that keeps track of Mac/Apple/iPhone info...

MR is is the first tab... right after InfoQuotes which gives Mac (and others) current stock prices...

Yes, AAPL total stock value is still more than 3 x DELL

The Status Bar toggle is under the View menu in Safari and FireFox.

#49438 for me. That's a little high compared to a few other message boards I'm on...

Reminds me of the early days of Apple: Markkula, Woz and Jobs were setting employee # assignments... Woz got Emp# 1; SJ got Emp #2; MM got Emp#3 (as CEO and CXO).

Jobs lobbied to be Emp # 0

Hellz Yeah Boiy!

Way to go MacRumors!

IMHO this is good things all the way around... Anyone who owns AAPL should be stoked!

Congratulations!

This is a fantastic site, with a fantastic community. I hope to see even more continued success in the coming years.

My only qualm is I think it's about time for a site redesign... maybe something done with AJAX? (And something that loads and reads easier with the iPhone).

If you define active as having at least one post, I think there are around 124,622 active members. Paydnei was the last to join as of when I checked the stats.

I guess I would define active as at least 1 post in the last 30 days. Make sense?

Good question, what is the definition of an active member? One post per:

- Day
- Week (last 7 days)
- Month (last 30 days)
- Year
- Since they've joined

Probably something along the lines of the first three. I don't presume to know what would be a good metric.

FWIW, the individual whom I referenced, joined and made their first post when I checked the stats. Assuming that they do not make another post, how long before they are no longer considered active?

Here's an interesting question. What about someone who contributes to MacRumors but does not post? Are they considered an active member?

Anyhow, I figured that if they made one post, they were active. But who knows.
