Well I am not sure Apple HQ are happy about this. As MR becomes more popular and gets more traffic whenever leak happens - a lot of people will be aware of that.

Just like with Iphone HD: MR posted and covered Iphone story in very high detail. Now a lot of people aware how awesome new Iphone is and they will NOT buying 3GS and 3G phones that are out right now. !

MR doesn't do the actual leaking, I don't remember the last time they actually had a leak of their own. Just because another site leaked something, doesn't mean MR shouldn't report it in the first place.

I'd be curious to hear theories about what led to the bump in posts per day during the year 2008, compared to the gradually increasing number from year to year.

I think that by 2008 many more people were introduced to Apple products and the conversion of the masses from the other world :D began to make their presence known!

Once this exponential conversion got it's foothold many of us told others about MR. I know I have and have seen the activity here increase
since around the beginning of 2008!

Also assisting the masses beginning to convert to Apple products was the launch of the iPhone and the iPod
touch!

I think MR will see another massive growth in membership due to the iPad!

Those are my thoughts IMHO! ;)

Cheers for the last 12 months

Have only been a member for almost a year now, same amount of time I've been a mac user. (except for all 3 versions of the iphone so far). This place has been invaluable both with tech support and brilliant info. Thanks guys and gals. lets keep it going. :):)
