I'm going to charge him... an iTunes Gift Card. Hahaha.
It's basically that, I few image changes and a pair of tweaks here and there.
I shouldn't require much effort at all.
Nice job, OP. This could be coming in the future. It looks nice and really clean. A few things need to be changed here and there, but they are so small. Nice job!

The only thing is, wouldn't the forums design have to change to. It would be an entire overhaul.

Why? I like it. Just wondering if this could actually happen or if we would stick with the current mock-up.
I pretty sure that MacRumors will get a redesign (something many have been looking forward to) but I don't know when. In the meantime, suggestions (and mockups) are welcome and so are comments on the suggestions.
+1, it's good because it's not changing the whole site with some random crap like most mockups, it's just giving a nice update to the current one.
i like it also! and would love to see the forums look like this as well, but that might be hard to do
