Hello MacRumors Staff,

I love the work and site you've been working on and the effort you put in, keep up the good work!

On another note, I've been noticing the quality of news and rumors has deteriorated and a lot of the times it arrives late with no exclusives. I urge the staff and reporters to stay hungry and ambitious as you once were to bring in the inside scoop and be first to break the news.

Regards,

Loyal daily reader

Thanks for the feedback. It's something we are always working on and we making adjustments.

Hi Arn. Not sure if you remember me but you were at a few of my Macworld parties back in the day. I've been a subscriber of MR since 2002 and still have your RSS feed in my reader.

I'm unsubscribing today. About 6 months ago, the posts became more CE / CT news and less rumors. Now, a rumor gets published every 7 days on average and almost always is about iOS / iPhone and never about the Mac. I know the Mac isn't hot-stuff anymore but you guys started with a core goal and you've evolved the editorial content to be tech news but your brand and name remain "mac Rumors"

If you would consider a rumors tag w/ its own dedicated RSS feed, I'd happily re-subscribe to the feed.

Thanks for the consideration and sorry that I'm unsubscribing. I just don't have any interest in home-technology, headphones or iPad docks

Hey Adam!

I remember you. Sorry to hear. Admittedly this week is a bit CES heavy, but that's a relatively short term issue. As for content on Mac side of rumors. Yes, it's a bit thin, but also unavoidable in some ways due to bigger trends.

That said, we will have something that may appeal to you in the near future that may help u cut though some of the extra stuff. In the meanwhile, I'd encourage you to subscribe to our newsletter which is a bit more focused and leaves out some of the lesser news.

Thanks Arn, nice to hear from you and have a good year.

I would think the lack of Mac rumors would be in direct relation to Apple focusing more attention, time and money on other products. There's not much that can be done on the laptop/desktop side of things, they've matured quite a bit at this point.
