I made the school detention list. That was about it.
I'm laughing, reading this.

No, I was never on the school detention list.

Instead, my rebellions were of the intellectual variety.

Mary Beard, in her latest work (Talking Classics) writes of how she struggled with the dilemma of being a well behaved, academically inclined, school-girl who also rejected (quite profoundly) some of the prevailing attitudes and beliefs of her society and culture: Goody-Two-Shoes versus Rosa Luxembourg was how she phrased it, (adding that Goody won, but Rosa never quite went away) and I roared with laughter - and a nod of rueful recognition - when I read this.

Honestly I wasn’t often in detention. I was good at knowing how far to push and when to quit.

I did skip quite a bit of secondary school but was good at not getting caught.

It would've been neat if there were 'badges' for title advancement, I'd be curious to know at which point I cracked each title.

Tracking it by hand is impossible not only because it would be incredibly time consuming even if you just counted on a messages-per-page basis, but the post total still seems to include PRSI posts, which are no longer visible to regular users at all.

Actually, the total (number of posts that are counted and matter when calculating one's "rank", or designation) does not - or, rather, did not - include posts made in PRSI.

A few specific areas have always been excluded from such accounting, or reckoning, such as PRSI, Marketplace, and one or two others, if memory serves.

Now that you say it, you're right. I think it's likely though that reaction score did still include the posts, which must be what I was thinking of. Looking at jkcerda he has over 41,000 reaction score with only exactly 1,000 posts. He used to frequent PRSI.
