MacRumors Turns 10 Years Old Today

Happy 10th!

Happy 10th Anniversary Arn!

You've made a dent in the universe with your creation - Bravo!

Happy Anniversary!

I love this website and I'm proud to say I've been a loyal visitor since 2004 when I got my first iPod. And this website and the community forums played a major part in me getting my first Mac back in 2007.

But anyway, congratz on 10 years and here's to another decade!

You gave up medicine to run a rumors site?:eek::eek::eek:

I think this site, with it's huge traffic, can be worth something. I read an article about Macrumors and its possibilities.

I started as a member here when Macrumors was 1 month old, and there were about a dozen of us who were regular posters like Blakespot, Kela, Spikey, John123, and a few others.

Within that first year, many non-Mac people got introduced to this site just through the interesting talks we had in the non-Mac related community forums.

Some of these people became regulars and bought their first Mac later on.

Then politics entered the community section, and Google searches on almost any hot topic political issue had us rank just behind the major networks, CNN, and FOX. We even outranked Huffington Post one year.

As for other non-Mac stuff, we also outranked Twitter, too.

Macrumors is no small site.

congratulations

macrumors became big, well who would have thought it.

slap on the back to Arn, and the others.
Hope for the best, and another 10 years.

Happy birthday! I recently joined, but MR has been my #1 go-to for info since I started shopping for my first Mac in 2004. Here's to another 10!

Happy 10th MR! How about that Super Bowl?!? Awesome! Also, I sure hope Apollo Ohno gets some more medals in Vancouver!!!

When I heard that you quit medicine, I knew that Macrumors was getting very successful by itself. I read that at one time, we were bigger than Huffington Post. I hope we keep the traffic on those levels.

i certainly hope that we can both increase traffic AND maintain interest of the viewers.
