I've been reading it since the start, or close enough. Happy birthday MR!

On a side note related to how long I've been following Apple, anyone remember the long-gone rumor site that had an interface that looked like Mac OS and the VEVO polls? I can't remember the name of it any more :-(

Truly amazing, 25 internet years is like 100 years IRL!

Congratulations & happy birthday, the site is still relevant after so many years.

You should do a special podcast and share some insights about the years. I’d like to know what was the most read article of all time, the most commented and also if Apple congratulated you or tried to sue you.

Happy Birthday Macrumors! 🎉

I've only been here for about nine of those years, but I've truly enjoyed having this site as a place to appreciate all things Apple and to glean helpful information from those WAAAY more knowledgable than I on various forums. Thanks for putting in all the hours that go into keeping this an enjoyable island in a sea of questionable (I'm feeling charitable) internet content.

It's a milestone day for MacRumors, as today marks our 25th birthday. MacRumors was coincidentally founded on Steve Jobs' birthday of February 24, 2000, with articles starting just a few days later.

MacRumors was founded by medical student Arnold Kim, and it remained a side project for over eight years until he decided to give up medicine to focus on MacRumors as a full-time career. That backstory and additional perspective were shared in a July 2008 New York Times profile.

Through the years, MacRumors grew along with Apple's popularity and added additional writers, editors, and other staff members, with the team now numbering roughly a dozen dedicated folks who live and breathe Apple news and rumors.

I was 8 years late to the party, but I’ve been here ever since. Congrats on the milestone and thanks for being the best source for Apple news and info!

I cant believe ive been on here that long, blink of an eye indeed. I was a long time lurker before I ever joined. but boy has time disappeared. so much change.

Happy Birthday! Been here since the beginning. I remember when I switched to here when ThinkSecret got shut down.

I was one of the editors of megamac.com, the first website with daily news about Apple and the Mac in the Portuguese language. We went out of business some time in 1999.

At the time I would read other rumor sites, like macosrumors, appleinsider and others I don’t remember.

So, congratulations on keeping MacRumors relevant for all these years. It’s not an easy feat.
