I just noticed that http://www.macrumors.com redirects the main page to http://www.macrumorslive.com. Anything more coming with this change, or will I be killed for asking?

MacRumorsLive.com is our live-event domain which is used to evenly distribute load over many servers for these high traffic events.
Today it was simply used to mirror the front page.
Previously, there was a new live-webcasting system created by Knox. It is described in detail here:

Hopefully we'll be able to use the live-webcast system again. Perhaps at MWSF 2006. Apple's been really strict about live coverage of these media events.
