The disk is probably in MFS format, something that Apple dropped support for in OS 8.5 because it hadn't been used since System 2 and the iMac had just come out with no floppy drive...
 
I've become addicted! I've figured out how to use programs and am now having lots of fun. I'm trying to figure out the game Alice (Through the looking glass) but I think that it's messed up. Oh well. :D
 
I've actually gotten a couple of bombs the last couple of years, playing MOO through classic. All of them starting with "Bummer..." and some reference to a memory fault (memory leak?). Actually quite funny, as I just had to restart Classic...
