I don't want to be on that bus. What's your thoughts 'eddyisgreat'? Body upgrade or better specs?

I'm certainly no authority and I have absolutely no affiliation with Apple ( although I do have an Apple shirt that I was given by a manager during a product launch ;) ) but I would say that the unibody design has atleast one more year to go, meaning that we could see better specs. I say this because the old school "powerbook" body lasted us nearly 5 years, with the intel innards stuffed into it's chassis and named the "Macbook Pro". The unibody look has only been with us for about since late 2008-that'd be about 2.3-2.4 years. I'd say it still has shelf life, but that's not taking into account how much it cost to design and manufacturer (for which I do not have data on).

I'm not saying anyone is right or wrong, just trying to give perspective & reasoning based on historical facts rather than downright fantasy.

Does anyone remember that macosrumors article from before the Arrandale macbooks were released? Their story was so similar to this one, with exquisite detail. It was so professional sounding, and the sources seemed totally legit.

And they were wrong about virtually everything that they predicted.

Move along folks.

This is the first thing I thought of!! Yeah, they were way off. Really the only sound evidence we ever got from Arrandale happened in the last week or so before the refresh. And even then, no concrete specs were known, not even the video card.
