You should receive an email shortly, asking you to submit your name and email address. From there, you will be added to the developers' lists.

Maybe us Brit's get better bandwidth :p. (650kB/s now)

Imagine if you were in Japan...

In Japan net users have 100Mbps lines, 10 times higher than the OECD average.
Japan's price for broadband per megabit per second is the lowest in the OECD at $0.22 (0.11p), said the report.

I was getting about 800-900kb/s for the first 250mb then it slowly went down to about 400kb/s. It took maybe 15 minutes total from the link in my email. I've downloaded game demos that took much longer, so this wasn't too bad just had to be patient. :)

Leopard and then .....

So in like 3 months time leopard will be out , how may of these apps will still work with that without paying an update fee of lets say 99 dollar for ttpro for instance, since the normal update fees wil not apply because of the group bye, any ideas on that ?

Contrary to what some people might tell you, most developers don't rush out to screw over their users every time a new OS revision is released. Also, you don't really have any cause to think you're any less of a user to them just because this is the way you bought their software...

Ok i would hope so, but TTpro is an app that is really made for a specifik system is it not, so i would be surprised if that would work under leopard just like it is now, since it is now build for tiger.

Well, it's sure to require some sort of update just the same as it needs them occasionally to cover new hardware models, but I wouldn't assume it's going to be a major upgrade (i.e. 5.0) just because of Leopard.

Same here. I bought through MacHeist and haven't received any emails from MacHeist.

Where do you get these apps?

PhotoPresenter sn# now in emails

PhotoPresenter link and serial#s are out in emails now. A few people on MU said they've had issues with their registration, but I just downloaded and registered without a hitch.

As one of the masochists who actually reads license agreements, I have a lot of work to do when I buy bundles. I like to know whether licenses are for a single computer (all users) or for a single person (all computers).

I was thinking of the same thing, since I use a MacBook and the iMac often. I guess I'll try it out and see what happens, I'll install everything on the iMac and then on the MacBook. Some applications may phone home and complain if they notice they are installed on different machines but, maybe that's why LittleSnitch was included for. ;) :p haha

I take it the email everyone's talking about from MacHeist is the one saying 'click this link' and your preferences get saved for which extra apps you want?

Because I got all that, and did everything, and it's been over 24hrs since, and I've still not had a single email i was promised within 24hrs :(

Check your spam box, it may be in there, it was for my Gmail account, though some of the application emails haven't got through to me, and I've just sent them a support email.

Are the apps full licenses ?!
for those who used both: Onyx or Cocktail?

I think the preferences you are referring to were checkboxes controlling which mailing lists you wanted to be on, not which applications you wanted. You should (eventually) get email with download links and/or license keys for every application in the bundle.

3. Following the sales figures was enjoyable but frustrating at the same time because, of course, they are now hiding whatever they sell above 5,999 (and, of course, you can bet it will be quite a few).
MacHeist resumed running the counter. It passed 10,000 bundles sold within the last hour.

These are the apps that would make me buy a bundle:

- Flip4Mac
- Transmit
- Mac Pilot
- Path Finder
- iSquint or VisualHub
- Snapz/Wiretap
- Games (Pangea or Freeverse)

I tried to buy it but I just keep getting this "There was a problem creating your member account please try again in a moment". I see this under the Q and A section: "Q: Member Account Not Created - I purchased the bundle using paypal and my Member account was never auto-created. I want to use referral coupons. What do I do?
A: We created a script that ran and should have manually created your Member account. Use the forgot password form to get it emailed to you. Then login using the email address you used to purchase the promo. Lastly, send your invite coupons. "

but it doesn't look like it ever got to the purchase stage when I do this.

Pathfinder would get my serious attention. I had an early version of snapz and it was pretty crummy for screencasting, crashed my mac consistently.:( However, at the time it (I think during Puma/Jaguar?) was a really good for screen capture. The price is a little prohibitive now, but if they threw it into a bundle I could see people really going for it. I like iShowU interface better, but they don't seem to have all the bugs out of that one too.
