From the test results it is pretty clear that a G5 chip running at the same clockspeed is a whole lot faster than a G4 chip.
Hmm read what you quoted: it's no match for a DUAL G5 Power Mac...
It's quite a match for a SINGLE G5 powermac, which is the most likely config you'd see in a laptop at this point... Hey if they can put a DUAL G5 or dual G4 into a laptop (with dual core G5s or G4s for example), I'm all for that 🙂 But those tests show a single G5 vs. a single G4 isn't much difference.
