Its not totally impossible to believe that apple asked thinksecret to put up a false rumor. A simple option, that or a court case....
Zaty said:Are you serious? Why would Apple ask TS to spread a false rumour? If they had managed to keep the PB G5 secret until today, I'm sure they would be able to keep it that way for another 20 hours or so. Anyway, people please wake up, the current G5 is not suitable for portables.

1) Why would Apple use Lucida Grande as the font for this one box? They've always stuck with Myriad.
2) There are edges on the box lid where it looks like paper has been laid ontop of what we can assume to be an iBook box.
3) Centre? This ain't bloody Britain! It's Center
4) The device itself looks fake. The corners even look dented, like it's made of cardboard. Not to mention there's no depth to the "ports" in the back.
And so on, and so forth... 🙄
erackattack said:Wow... sorry!! Obviously I hadn't seen that it was fake or I wouldn't have posted it. I apologize!
Thataboy said:And by the way, do you really want to wait for who knows how long, just to get the FIRST GENERATION PowerBook G5. Who wants to guess there will be heat/fan issues in the first generation?
Probably not as much as a PBG5, but I guess we'll take what we can get.SiliconAddict said:Is anyone else sort of just....er twitchy?
I want my headless iMac damn it!! 😎
