Magic Mouse!!! I just converted from PC to Mac and had used a really nice Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse with many great buttons and a perfect fit in my hands. I was very biased about the mouse before my iMac arrived but it did no ttake long to get used to it and prefer it. Also, you might find one in the refurb store with free shipping to make this a more affordable investment

My only small nit is after 4-5 weeks I am now on my third set of batteries but I am now using rechargeable batteries so the cost of use will not be so bad.

Magic Mouse + BetterTouchTool is unbeatable combo

I was thinking about getting Magic Mouse for long time before I decided to get it and I haven't regretted it, it's the best mouse I've ever used

yeah but isnt it riduclously priced? I mean, I know apple is all about the premium pricing model (and premium products) but I cant seem to justify $70+ for a mouse.

True. That's why I have been thinking about this quite a bit. I can get a refurbished Might Mouse for £39 or a Magic Mouse for £48 (it's usually £56 but I can get a HE discount on this product, discounts can't be used on refurbs). This is why I'm trying to see whether it's worth it or not. I think the main decider will be whether I find the Magic Mouse comfortable in my hand or not, but I'm not going to the Apple Store for another few months. Tried the wired Apple Mouse at PC World yesterday (I'm guessing it's the same shape as it's wireless counterpart) and I liked the overall feel of it so I'm leaning towards that mouse atm.

I have 4 Mighty Mouse sitting in my cupboard (3 were mine, other was my parents) all of them have scroll balls that only work in one or two directions (mostly left and right) and no amount of cleaning will get them working. I'm so glad I ditched them for the Magic Mouse, it is so much better.

For me the Mighty Mouse scroll ball seems to get clogged after just over a year of use.

Thanks for the info, I really like the feel of the scroll wheel and overall shape of the Mighty Mouse. I guess I'll have to see how I find the Magic Mouse to make a comparison.

Honestly, I got my parents to buy me one for christmas.

It is very much worth the 70 dollars. I can't compare it to the magic mouse, I have been a logictech mouse user for a long time back (Apple's last decent mouse happened before those stupid puck mice. The magic mouse is the first one that has gotten me interested in getting an Apple mouse again).

I love it so much I get irritated if I forget it and have to use the track pad (mine only has minimal gestures as they just were starting when mine came out) or for some reason have to use my old logic tech mouse (I start missing gestures and the much better and faster scrolling that is also 360). And it's nice not having the scroll wheel gum up (this isn't special to the mighty mouse but from what I am reading here it is nowhere near as quick happening).
