I like it with a few complaints

I got one the first day my Apple store got them in store. I use it on a Mac Pro that is really a secondary computer as I spend 90% of my time on my Macbook Pro. The batteries do get used fairly quickly but it seems the keyboard uses them faster ( anyone else feel that way? ).

I had no idea until I just read all your posts that there was a software solution to the middle button. THANKS! I will check that out as the expose feature off my mighty mouse was greatly being missed here!

All in all I love the Magic Mouse. The right click seems a little finicky lately. Maybe the the suggested software will help that.

This is an amazing mouse. Love the scrolling. No stupid ball that gets jammed anymore.

What's the best lithium batteries to get for the Magic Mouse? Rechargeable or otherwise?

I love the idea of a multi-touch mouse but it is really frustrating not having two buttons and a mouse wheel. I use programs like google sketchup and wings 3d and it annoys me a lot when i remember that i can't change my view of the object without clicking the orbit button every time. Also THIS IS NOT A GAMING MOUSE.

btw the battery life is pretty bad

i do have magic prefs it helps but not much

How about an "I loved it, now I hate it" option?

I'd buy the damned Logitech MX Revolution if it didn't take up a USB port.

I love mine except for the battery thing. I didn't like the old type mouse at all with the tiny little trackball.

I've had Magic mouse for about a week now.

Works great, compared to the Mighty mouse and its app/window switch button on the side =)

I love it, but the battery life is way too short. It would be awesome if there was a unit that came out with a rechargeable base similar to the ipod dock in style, or even if the base of the iMac was an induction charger.

I love mine too. It is great if you use it with BetterTouch Tool, it is just awesome.

I've got some Sanyo Eneloops on the way soon for the digital camera, will report on how they perform in my Magic Mouse. Right now, I'm getting around 1 month out of alkalines, so I'm hoping the new Eneloops will be much better.

Anyone here use a rechargeable? What life do you see?
