Nice idea. I'll pass on the carabiner though - probably not much call for mountain climbing equipment in NYC.

those carabiner's scare me. I bought one from eastern mountain sports to use as a keychain. it was in the middle of winter and i was playing with it and it snapped in half. The actual aluminum snapped. i was like wtf man. i dont know if it was from the cold or was defective or what. I didnt even put much pressure on it. its suppose to hold body weight. Thats what they use for mountain climbing? screw that..what are the chances that could happen again.

I already have buckets of adapters, converters etc.

However I am a serious climber and can always use more carabiners.

That's because you probably bought a novelty carabiner.

This one's legit:

I have a "kitchen/living room Macbook Air" and then my main Macbook Pro, that I also use on the main level sometimes. Really I just want Apple to make it attachable to the power cord, that's where I need it. Not on my keychain or on travels where I have my whole bag with me anyway...

hockey tape doesn't look very pretty

Might not be pretty, but it works.

I actually ran into an issue yesterday where I forgot my power cord for my MBPr at home and I was stuck at work. I haven't bought an adapter yet because I naively asked myself, "I have the charger. Why would I ever need an adapter for my only charger?" I found myself at work wishing I had one with me so that I could borrow someone's MagSafe 1 power cord. Now I'm getting an adapter and one of these keychains so that I always have one on me.

$15 seems a bit expensive, seems like it should cost $5, but maybe everyone thinks Apple users pay a lot for their computers, so it's fine to rip them off?

something better

this has vintage vibe, holds both magsafe and lighting>30pin adapters, and costs about 65% less (including shipping!).
