I modified my armrest in my truck. Double sided tape for the MagSafe charger and a Cplay2Air adapter inside the armrest for wireless car play. no problems opening the armrest while phone is on the charger. Magnet is strong enough

I’m sure I could have but wanted to give it a more finished look. I ordered another center piece that it’s double sided taped to so I can take a shot at running the cord to where you don’t see it.
