Picked up mine today after having to wait in a line to go in was able to see a demo unit after looking it over i went for it will be perfect for traveling i didn't pick up a 20w plug as i have a 18w already as both devices will be on charge overnight its a non issue

While it is pricey when you break down the cost of the cables it isn't too bad

Magsafe charger £39
USB-C cable 1m £19
AW cable £29

Around £40 extra to have less cables and makes a decent travel accessory

My MagSafe Duo arrived on Thursday. It's nice and for me worth the price since I own both an iPhone and AW. If I ever get to travel again (I was a jet setter for work prior to the plague) it would cut down on the cables and crap I have to pack. We are actually doing a long weekend in the mountains and I brought it with me and used it for the first time last night. I love the nightstand function for my watch. It's a steep price but for the convenience factor - worth it to me. I will use it at home too - the MagSafe keeps my phone locked on....we have 5 German she's and they end up hitting my nightstand and sometimes would knock my phone off the Qi charger I was using.....and I would wake up to a dead battery or close to it in the am.

For those who travel with an iPhone and iPad Pro and are planning on bringing along their Magsafe Duo.. what combination of cables and chargers are you going to use? I'm curious for the least amount of items needed to bring. It would have been perfect if the Magsafe Duo was USB C to USB C since you could then just bring that, the cable, and brick. Obviously that is not the case, so I am curious as to what everyone else will use.

It’s a nice product. I would have liked it to have the phone stand also pop up. Still prefer the design of the mophie or the upcoming Belkin.

My mophie lasted 2 months. Had it not been for the unreliability, I would’ve bought the Belkin 3-1, but existing reviews of the current 3-1 also state it stops working.

With Apple, I’m assured of better after sales even if it stops working. Peace of mind > Fancy Designs.
Got the 20w brick,
11vs14w is no biggie to me.

Either
2x 20w bricks
or
1x 20/30w
Need 2 cables either way.
If you don’t go first party, then you might as well get a 2x PD charger.

18w brick with normal usb c to lightening is all would need

I just got mine today. Overpriced? Sure.

I have to say the quality is great and convenience is awesome...and that’s what we are paying for. And if I HAVE to fast charge, I’ll just plug in the iPhone directly to the cable. For me having a fully charged iPhone outweighs having a charged watch of it comes down to it.

but that’s one less thing to carry around and one less cable on the nightstand, so to heck with it- enjoying it.

Pairing mine with the 20w brick and maybe when we can travel again-the 61w MacBook charger to charge everything.

I'm definitely liking this charger. It's small and no more missing a charge because I didn't align the iPhone properly. Now, it just sticks and charges! I also used some credits I had with Amazon to get the 30w Apple charger plug for just $17 and it does charge the phone and watch very quickly. I'm happy.
