MagSafe LED - Battery Charging - Tahoe 26.5

Battery optimization is enabled and set to 80% limit on my M5 MBP. Prior to Tahoe 26.5, the MagSafe LED would be amber under this setting when the 80% limit was reached. After upgrading to 26.5, the LED remains green, even when the 80% limit is reached. This is not a problem- just a curiosity. Did 26.5 change something?

Yes, 26.5 fixed what was perceived as a bug in what the indicator light previously indicated.

Now orange light = charging, not at the set limit, green light = charged and at the set limit.
