Does anyone recommend a stand for the Magsafe? I can't seem to find a good one anywhere.

I’m looking for a MagSafe stand as well. I’m looking for something like this Wallet/Stand but just a stand for less money.

I got one from AliExpress. Using an apple MagSafe. Painted the cable with plastic dip and have those ring protectors on order. I like this little stand. You’ll have to attach it to a table because the phone does pick it up. Luckily where I have this I can use magnets under the speaker I have here(it’s front mesh cover) and a metal plate on the underside of the stand and it doesn’t move When I pick up the phone.

Perfect timing! I just got my Grovemade stand in today. Yes - it's expensive. I am impressed though and very satisfied ATM. The unit is HEAVY and feels extremely solid and well built. The magsafe puck is held on by a reusable sticky surface. It seems to hold everything from a Mini to a 12 Pro Max just fine. Keep in mind the phone is really only being held up by the magsafe puck, so I am still a bit unsure of how much I trust it. I've watched a couple of videos and taken a few conference calls and it's been great today. I don't think I would trust this as an overnight charger since I would be afraid of it falling, but for my intended purpose (used during the day) it's spot on. I'll update if my feelings change. Let me know if any questions.

I just received this new one from Anker today. It's quite nice. Probably going to send it back though. You need to hold down the base with one hand when removing your iPhone from it. If you are okay with that, then I recommend it for sure. I have the MagSafe Belkin 3-1 coming tomorrow which I suspect I'll like a great deal.

Probably going to be an issue with any stand unless you stick it down to the table somehow. With mine I find if I hold it from the top and push it back and down it easily detaches without lifting the stand

Does it require two hands to remove the phone from the charger? Or is it heavy enough that it will stay put when picking up your phone off it?
Def not heavy enough. But if I lift up from the bottom and kind of “peel” it off it works fine. Or push from the top towards the back so it angles off

I just got the Anker PowerWave 2 in 1 stand as well. I do not recommend it. The arm has a lot of flex and it just feels cheap and wobbly. I don't have a problem removing it from the stand with one hand though using an upwards peeling motion but it just feels like it'll break at any time.

I'm returning mine. Cannot remove my 12 Max without lifting the stand too. Keeping my Belkin MagSafe 3-1.

I'm interested in these two from Elago that were just released

I really doubt you’ll be able to remove your iPhone without holding down the base with your other hand. That’s why I like my Belkin 3-1 so much in part.

According to the Amazon listing the Elago stand is 9.1oz. Probably not heavy enough. Do you know what weight is needed to enable magnet separation?

BTW my Belkin 3-in-1 is arriving today. I'm excited for it. But I am also interested in a stand of some sort since I already have an Apple MagSafe charging cable and it would be a waste to bin it. Maybe I can use that in my office, since the Belkin is for my nightstand.

I don't. But it needs to be pretty heavy in order to be able to use it comfortably with one hand.

I'm using my 3-1 Belkin MagSafe in my home office. I absolutely love it.

I suggest you use the Belkin in your office and just use the MagSafe cable in your bedroom.

I prefer the 3 in 1 in the bedroom because I only charge my phone during the day. I charge the watch and and AirPods at night.

Probably right. You could double-side tape it down to a surface. I'm also waiting until the Belkin 2-in-1 is released as I don't need the Apple Watch charger.
