I've sent mine back, it's not for me. Used on the Mini and the attachment was excellent on my naked phone, not so good on a generic case even with a slim back. ( I expect it to hold better when using it with a Magsafe case )
If it was £20 I'd probably have kept it, but at £59 I just see the cost / benefit.

Did your case have a magnetic in it? Probably not, and probably why it didn't work well. That's why I use bumpers so that the back is naked. I didn't like Apple's silicone or clear cases which do have a magnetic in them, so I use RhinoShield’s bumper case. Otterbox cases sold by Apple have magnetics in them, but it looks like it was just taped on so I didn't even try those cases out.

Yes, I found the wallet attached to the naked Mini exceptionally well, and understand that the wallet would work better with a Magsafe case if you didn't want to use the phone caseless.
I think the Apple leather MagSafe case + MagSafe wallet would be a great combination but I'm not willing to pay £118 for what is, to me, a minor convenience. After all, I could get about four gallons of "Old Peculier" for that sort of money 😉

"Old Peculier" looks good. I don't think we can get that in the U.S. It looks like a stout, but does it taste like a stout?

Not as dark and rich as a stout, but more of a full bodied bitter.
It’s great to see the popularity of small breweries both here and in the states, with some excellent collaborations between breweries. 👍

Doesn't your hairdresser have your phone number for appointment purposes? He could have called you to tell you found your wallet.
LOL. Nope, I'm a guy, I don't make appointments, just rock up... And it happened on Christmas Eve!

I got the silicone case and wallet a week ago as a gift, and have really liked it so far. I always used the stick on wallets before, but because of that couldn’t do wireless charging, so this was exactly the feature I was looking for. I have always been very aware of the cards on my phone, so it’s not new for me to constantly check for the wallet (thanks anxiety).
I had lanyards on my previous cases because I liked the added security of wearing the strap so i wouldn’t drop it, but recently started using a strap that attaches inside the case. I think this helps the wallet stay a little more secure to the phone. Also, I love the plum and blue together!

How does the strap attach on the other side?

An article on 9to5mac.com made a good point that iOS should have a feature where iPhone reminds us to attach MagSafe wallet. I’d turn on that feature.

How many cards did the stick-on wallets hold?

It goes through the dock/charge hole on the bottom of the case. It’s thin enough silicone that I haven’t had any issues with my cases not fitting. It has basically double sided tape that sticks to the inside of the case.
I agree that feature would be great.
The stick on wallet would hold three cards (and occasionally I’d fold up a bill in there as well). They are usually made of an elastic or cloth material so they would stretch out easily to hold a little more than the wallet. My other reason to change was because you couldn’t clean the fabric wallet. Was considering a pop socket wallet before MagSafe wallets were announced.

FWIW, the RFID card I have to open a driveway gate, and another used as an office key, will not work when inside the MagSafe case, unlike when stored in a standard leather wallet/case. The MagSafe case acts like it is RFID protected, which I recall from the keynote or post keynote press releases.

Thanks for the info everyone. I'm actually on this fence about getting one for my 12 Pro Max with the Apple MagSafe Leather case.

Looking GOOOOOD . Question, do the MagSafe wallets come off easily? In the YouTube videos they appear to slide off very easy.

By design it comes off easily when you slide it off with your fingers to use it. However, if you shake it without specifically applying pressure with your hand it will not come off. Hope that makes sense.
