Maybe I'm missing something obvious, but I'm puzzled by the current Mail sorting and notifications scheme. For a while now, Mail has sorted the inbox into Primary, Transactions, Updates, Announcements, and then All Mail. However, new-mail notifications seem to remain all or nothing, which kind of defeats the point. Am I missing something here? Why is there not a Primary-only notification option, or does it exist somewhere and I just haven't found it? Thanks.

You are missing it because it's too simple. It's in Settings/General!

Thanks for all replies.

I have Primary Inbox enabled in the above screenshot, but I still get notifications for all new email, not just those sorted to Primary. I assume it’s a bug but maybe there’s something I’m missing here.
