Death Stranding is finally on sale for the first time this year on MAS. RE games are also on sale again and it's all-time low for RE Village for $10.
Its on sale on Steam as well. I would recommend getting games on steam over the MAS, as that gives you access to PC version of the games, if your situation changes.
True, but Steam feels so poorly developed (does not adhere to Mac app standards, crashes often, requires to be running in the background…), that I personally prefer buying from the Mac app store.
However many indie games are only on Steam, and it's probably a great platform for indie game developers.
I have a symmetric 5 gig connection and it saturates that. Doesn’t crap games in my ~/Library and obeys platform standards. I’d say it’s just fine compared to the abomination that is Steam.

I like that the recommended Mac CPU on Steam is an M4 Pro, while the recommended GPU is an M3 Pro lol.
