I guess I don't see what the big deal is. My Bluebuds have an answer button. It's connected to the phone, I just look at my watch, see who is calling and answer with my bluetooth headset. I never have to touch my phone and the watch just asks as a display.

If I want to initiate a call just use Siri from the headset.

This is what I found after further testing. If I answer or initiate a call with the watch it will not use my earpiece.
They should have it use the earpiece if it's active when initiating a call from the watch though.

Yes this is exactly what I was trying to explain! Thank you!
I have been trying to figure this out for days on many forums, unless you have devices with multi connectivity you cannot connect the bt headset to watch and phone.. you would think with the technology we could see who is calling on the watch to pick up with the bt head set..but you can't it won't let you pair with headset on phone and watch it chooses one or the other and you have to switch when phone incoming and you have to keep on watch connection for the calls to come in to be able to eventually switch to your headset with option

Aargh! I wish I had seen this before I got my new Bluetooth headset. Not being able to hear calls made from the watch on a Bluetooth headset is a huge oversight on Apple's part. The watch's speaker is so poor, you really need to use something else.

Apple leaves out so many basic features in their products that take years to finally get (how long did it take to get lower case and capital letters on the iOS keyboard?)-- it drives me nuts!

Yup, it'll work. I've found the Bluetooth headset works great with the watch. I didn't even have to have my phone that close to me.
[doublepost=1502508868][/doublepost] It doesn't to me I use x2t headsets and I paired it with iwatch but it doesn't work on calls it only works on playing to music .... can anybody help me ???

But you are supposed to be able to leave your phone home and use just the watch but if it don't answer with the head set whats the point. I have one and if I answer is with the head set it hangs up, but I can answer my watch and then transfer it to the head set and it works great just a pain in the ass to go through all that

Whats the point of the watch if you need to carry your phone too?

Just got back from the Apple Store to check out the watch for the first time. My main concern was my Bluetooth Headset. I use it hands free for work 24/7. It is a life saver not having to hold my phone up to my ear all day. I got a run around response from an Apple Store employee when I asked if it works with the watch the same way it does with my iPhone 6.

All I want to do is have my phone (in my pocket) or within range, my Bluetooth headset on my ear and be able to make and receive calls using my Watch, not my phone. Is this at all possible? I left more confused than when I walked into the store. BTW I ordered a 38mm Black Sport.. June delivery.
Have you got the solution for this?
