I'm 16, and make ~ $50,000 a year.

Weren't you the one who started the "I can't believe my mum financed a PowerMac for me" thread!?!?!

FAKE EDIT: Oh wait, here it is. https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/153602/

Well.. I never thought I would see the day when my mom would finance a powermac for me, but tonight I figured i'd bring it up and she actually said yes. I do web design and I make about 3x more a month than your average teen would working at Target or something, so she knows I can make payments on it every month.

Dude, you make more than "3 times more" than other people your age working at Target.

I may earn a starting salary of around $50K US dollars per year after finishing my PhD.

It helps if you know someone who works there... ;)

It was just me, and my Aunt, who I happened to be with at the time. She doesn't know how many people would've loved to be where she was.. Lol. :D

I saw Steve pacing his office, in the big glass window of his that looks onto the inside of Infinite Loop. :)

You LUCKY Son of a ... !!! Did he look angry? I imagine him being quite grumpy during his thinking pace.

When did you visit?

I have 2 healthy, happy kids and a husband who I admire, trust and am completely in love with. We own our house and we both have jobs we love (although mine is just some freelance work - I have my kids to take care of :D )

I "met"... well, okay, I flirted with a guy who is now a famous movie/TV actor, on a train from Manchester to London a few years ago. He came up to talk to me at Euston station and I behaved like a stupid giggly girl and didn't really answer his question and ran off towards the underground. Doh!!

...if only i could turn back time...

I'm 20 and I make $500000000k a year. Also my mom financed my PowerMac. RICH AND BEAUTIFUL!!

Well done. My girlfriend is very impressed – although not at the running away part of the story! :p

I suppose I'd better weigh in with something... how about the fact that I won my G5 Power Mac and 23" Cinema Display? Didn't cost me a penny! :D

Absolute and completely undeserving jammy swine.

:blazing green-eyed fury:

:p

i don't think any material stuff is worth being envious over, except maybe an ac cobra... ;)

but you can envy the things i've been fortunate enough to do:

been aerobatic flying-snap rolls, loops, stalls...everything
padi certified divemaster-done lots of cavediving.
semi-pro skateboarder( back when there were no pro's)-skated with world champs russ howell, stuart singer and brian abell...and jeff newton who later started zorlac boards.
4 wheeled the rubical trail...rated a 10 for difficulty
never had a corporate job.
did the olympic bobsled run in innsbruck, austria.
toured extensively as a musician.
spent 5 months as a ski bum in tahoe.
raced a lot of cool cars including porsches and american muscle cars.
coached 2 natural childbirths.

but i'm most thankful for my wife, daughters and my health.

Well, I'm your average teen working at Target (unfortunatley) and 3 times what I make still isn't very impressive ;)
