I dont think that would be a selling point , but i would like faster charging for the ipad... 3 hours just like the 1st and 2nd gen!

Lettuce wait until we see what the iPhone 5 brings, I would bet any money it is going to be something revolutionary, and will also be added to the next gen iPad.

Lettuce? You wouldn't happen to be using dictation on your 3rd gen iPad, would you? There's definitely room for improvemnt with dictation and I would guess by the introduction of the 4th gen iPad Siri will be out of Beta and more polished as well.

Microsoft is going to do a HUGE push for their Windows 8 tablets before the next iPad comes out.

I'm really curious how Apple will react.

I think Apple may have to work harder than just shaving a millimeter or pushing a few more frames-a-second.

I think Apple will be content to see if the Windows 8 tablets actually pose any threat to them before they directly react. The reason Apple keeps doing things the same way is because it continues to be highly successful. They would be foolish to change things now based unknown factors. The iPad is still a market unto itself right now. The only way Microsoft can threaten them is if Windows 8 tablets can establish that same level of standard bearing. And I'm not sure if they can.

Let's hope that Microsoft's Windows8 tablets bring some sort of real competition to the tablet market, especially with the iPad. I think Apple is sitting a bit too comfortably, and they need something that will shake them up.

That is when we will see ground breaking improvements to the iPad

basically, it'll be like an iPad 2. Thinner, lighter design, 10 hour battery life, same memory(1 gig), same display, new dock connector(only if it's on the next iphone), haptic feedback is unlikely but not an uncertainty, HD 720p camera, more storage, dramatically faster processor and graphics, and other than that, maybe a few subtle internal changes
