I am on day 15 of 20 days to close my exercise ring. I am definitely on target.
I’m taking my dogs on very long walks to compensate. They aren’t complaining! How is everyone doing under these unusual circumstances? Keeping active?
All my races in March and April have been canceled, of course: a 5K this Saturday, a half marathon on my birthday in 11 days, and the Boston Marathon in 5 weeks. And I'm working at home, which means less activity otherwise. But at the moment, I'm sticking to my training schedule. Races will eventually resume--hopefully by June--and I want to be ready when they are.
I did optimistically sign up for the California International Marathon in December. And I am registered for marathons in North Carolina in July and North Dakota in late September.

Challenge met!!!!!
I wouldn't either. My 5K last Saturday went virtual too. I didn't bother submitting a time. The entry fee goes to the Heart Association, so I'm just chalking it up to a charitable contribution. My 'challenge' is to close all 3 rings everyday of the month.
The 5k I planned for on March 27th is gone 'virtual.' Basically you submit your run times to their website. If you use a screenshot of a tracker (Apple Watch/Garmin), they will count those times for placement/prizes in the actual race.
They have already marked out the course, so you can actually run the exact course.
I haven't paid the entry fee, so not sure how that will work. Not paying $30 for a 'virtual' race.

I'm still trying to decide what to do to celebrate my 50th birthday this Saturday without a half marathon. I don't really feel like a solo half marathon time trial.
Happy early birthday to both of you!My birthday is this Saturday too!
I hadn't signed up but the money goes to Albany Rowing Center, which is a local 'business' that may not survive the economic hit. $20 for the virtual race; shirt included if desired.I wouldn't either. Not a dumb question at allPerhaps a very dumb question, but is it possible to see the monthly challenge on the iPhone or only on the watch?
Not a dumb question at all. It should appear on both devices.
Not even in the "Go For It" section?Yeah I thought I'd seen it before on the phone, but can't see it now under Awards on the iPhone? I can see Jan and Feb challenges but not March!
