I can't decide what color looks best with the rest of my theme. If you didn't see my theme it's this post. Let me know your opinion, which one?

Just so you're aware, that's likely slowing down your computer significantly. Your computer will run much better if you move those items off your desktop.

Uhh.. .Can you explain this to me? The desktop is just another directory on the computer storing files it is no different than putting all of those files in the "documents" folder, or where ever else.

I think that files' previews are always updated if they're on the desktop, while folders are loaded only when you open them
Anyway I doubt that all these files may slow down a modern mac.

The more files you have on your desktop, the more RAM is used up by the Finder.

This is my desktop currently. I can't remember where I found it, but probably deviantart

Right click on the desktop, and you'll see some handy options for keeping all that rot sorted: ;)

Would someone do me a huge favor and help me find the iChat MenuExtra Icon(s)? I don't think it's in CoreServices/Menu Extras because I changed/deleted it and nothing changed. Any help is appreciated.

just enable the menu in iChat's preferences. this is why i love iChat as you can go online and receive messages from the menu bar. unfortunately hardly any of my friends use AIM, Mobile Me or GTalk.
