So whats that thing supposed to do?

Warning: don't read this post if you think the universe is less than 6000 years old.

If I remember correctly, the CERN accelerator will discover the origins of the universe. In less flowery language, it is the most powerful accelerator yet to produce sub-atomic particles that were produced in the Big Bang. Although there are no immediate applications for this information, the same can be said for most of the major scientific advancements of the 19th & 20th centuries. This is why a number of European countries were willing to put up so much money to build such an expensive unit.

Cold day here in Texas

It's snowing (sort of) here, so I changed mine to a more appropriate one. I don't remember where I found it, but probably interfacelift :apple:

For those of you with black MacBooks, this is the perfect background, in terms of color coordination. Also, making my dock jet black helped.

Just got it out of the extras from the new cd download on nin.com!
Ditto that ...
Hell, lets just put them all up here for everyone to see. They are some really great wallpapers. The "booklet" that came with it has some amazing photos in it as well. A few with Apple hardware cameos, too. OH, and the album is spectacular as well, btw. Can't wait for the deluxe pack to arrive to hear it on the Blu-Ray in 96/24.

I went for the Leopard look this month since I don't have the money for Leopard. I used UNO (specifically, the shade subset) to theme the windows, and a ton of custom icons in the dock. The second image is just the empty desktop.

What the heck is that article talking about? Grab can capture a window perfectly fine., and it's a lot easier then trying to contort your fingers, and press Cmd+Shift+4+Space, and clicking on a window??? :)
