What the heck is that article talking about? Grab can capture a window perfectly fine., and it's a lot easier then trying to contort your fingers, and press Cmd+Shift+4+Space, and clicking on a window??? :)

you'd be surprised... I use keyboard shortcuts for a lot of things in a lot of applications... and ctrl shft 4 space is very useful and quicker thn using Grab...

I went for the Leopard look this month since I don't have the money for Leopard. I used UNO (specifically, the shade subset) to theme the windows, and a ton of custom icons in the dock. The second image is just the empty desktop.

You get 60FPS in Handbrake on a 2.16GHz Macbook? :( I only get 15 out of the 1.83 Mini.

I rather like using the built-in screenshot shortcuts in Mac OS X because I don't have to worry about launching another application and the screenshot just appears on the desktop. Also, I'm not sure why I had that page up.

That was, I believe, during the turbo first pass in two-pass encoding. I get less FPS during the second pass, which is a full pass. Somewhere around 30 or 40, I believe.

Decided a change was needed, found it on some film site, can't remember where, one of those bored moments between jobs ;)

Don't have the link so I'm attaching my desktop, as well as the background.

Lately, I have been doing a lot of reading about areas I want to check out to start my teaching career next year. I am really warming to the idea of moving to Washington state, most likely in Olympia or Seattle. I love pine trees and being close to the ocean, so these are two things that are in my plus column right now. The climate is similar to Southwestern British Columbia in Canada, so that would be nice. I actually like rain - keeps the dust away. LOL

My new Desktop picture - the State of Washington flag. :)

Anyone here live in Washington state?
