Any body wanna explain how you get Adium to look like that, where its just the names etc?

Heres my picture, i uploaded it since it doesnt appear to be on here any more from the previous poster.

Ha but you know what..I need glasses, I though it was John Lennon till I saw it larger, *off to the opticians ....

edit* I've just had a look on your deviant art page, great designs .....What software would one use to acheive (after lots of practice) similar...what I mean to say is I'm interested in doing artwork for promos/flyers etc for some friends of mine who asked me recently and I'd like to give it a go...is it the ubiquitous photoshop?.
 
Mine for the month. I found the original image on Flickr then done a little editing in Photoshop (crop, b&w, noise)...

Any body wanna explain how you get Adium to look like that, where its just the names etc?

Adium > Preferences > Appearance
Set the window style to "Borderless Window" so only the names are displayed and nothing else, "Group Bubbles" to have each of your groups in a separate bubble, or "Contact Bubbles" to have each contact in their own bubble; all of these options will remove the top bar from the Adium window.
Then set the opacity slider to 0% to remove the background from the contact list.
You can then customize the list layout further to hide/show the user, status and service icons, or to alter the spacing of the contact list.

While I'm here, here's my desktop:
